In February 2022, Louis started his career as a lawyer at Andersen in Belgium where he specialised in administrative and civil law, and more specifically in urban planning, environmental law and public procurement.

During his university studies, Louis was a member of the Rosa Parks Human Rights Legal Clinic where he worked with Médecins du Monde on asylum policy issues during a pandemic.
