Michael works with entrepreneurs, family holdings and mid-market groups at the moments that shape a business: a sale, an acquisition, a succession, or the stretch of decisions that precedes or follows one. He advises on M&A, valuations, due diligence and deal structuring, and brings to that the perspective of someone who has sat in the operator’s chair – four and a half years as CFO of an international group, across four markets and three currencies.

Recently in 2026 he was appointed as a tribunal magistrate (consular judge) at the Court of Antwerp by royal decree, sitting alongside professional judges on company law, insolvency and reorganisation matters – providing a unique vantage point.

He works in English, Dutch and French.
